Opening of several of the festival exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Cuisle Cheoil<\/h3>\n

Kicking off the festival with an outdoor set dance ceile.<\/p>\n

McFadden\u2019s Fun Fair<\/h3>\n

Great fun all the family.<\/p>\n

Beat on the Street<\/h3>\n

Making Music on the Esmonde Street, Beat 102-103 will be playing the latest hits.<\/p>\n

Boutique Boulevard<\/h3>\n

Jam and Jamming<\/h3>\n

Local jam makers demonstrate their talents in a jam making competition. Entry is \u20ac1 per pot.<\/p>\n

When:  <\/strong>       Entries taken from 9am to 10am sharp.<\/p>\n

Busking Competition<\/h3>\n

Street musicians compete for top place in a Busking Competition.<\/p>\n

When:   <\/strong>      10am to 2.30pm<\/p>\n

Artisan Food Fair<\/h3>\n

Sample outstanding, locally crafted bread, cheese, butter, preserves, confectionery, and many more artisan foods from skilled producers in the Gorey and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

Street Carnival<\/h3>\n

Magicians, board games, pool play off, Gorey\u2019s favourite clown, The Madcaps and much more.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Play Day<\/h3>\n

Highlights include: a climbing wall; face painting; arts and crafts; indoor and outdoor games; circus skills; soccer and rugby workshops; a puppet show; live music; train rides; a magician and a small animal show by Kia Ora Mini Farm.<\/p>\n

Headlining act Crystal Swing take to the stage, supported by The Barley Mob, Daydream Regime, Sinead O\u2019Brien and Etienne Belin from Paris.<\/p>\n

Gorey Fair Day and Street Markets<\/h3>\n

Visit a wide range of stalls and street markets. A Vintage Display will also be on the street.<\/p>\n

When:    <\/strong>     12 noon to 6pm.<\/p>\n

South East Radio<\/h3>\n

South East Radio will broadcast live from the main stage.<\/p>\n

Local Heroes Tug of War Challenge<\/h3>\n

Local teams of all shapes and sizes are invited to join the challenge. Entry is \u20ac50 per team, and there\u2019s prize money of \u20ac1,500 up to grabs. Contact Matt Bulter on 087-1477644 for information.<\/p>\n
