North Wexford<\/strong> comprises the popular town of Gorey<\/strong> <\/a>which has grown tremendously in population  over the past number of years. There are many beautiful seaside villages popular with Irish Tourists and those visiting from overseas including the picturesque village of Cahore<\/strong>, the summer festival village of Ballygarret<\/strong>, the expanding village of Ferns<\/strong>, the popuar country village of Ballycanew<\/strong>, the famous seaside village of Courtown<\/strong>, Holiday Villages of Kilmuckridge<\/strong> (home to Morriscastle beach) and Blackwater<\/strong>, and many more besides.<\/p>\n

Situated in the “Sunny South East” of Ireland, North Wexford is home to many  fine sandy beaches<\/strong> ideal for a fun family day out and also popular with local surfers. Roney point<\/strong> in particular  is a lovely walk even on a dull day with so much seashells etc to collect – ideal for children.<\/p>\n

The famous Curracloe <\/strong>beach is also situated in North Wexford and was the location of the movie hit ‘Saving Private Ryan’. Curracloe is also home to a myriad of birds who nest here annually specifically in the north and south Wexford slobs ( Wexford Wildfowl Reserve<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

North Wexford<\/strong> offers the visitor a large selection of historic and natural attractions including the J F Kennedy Homestead<\/strong>,  Ferns castle<\/strong>, Craanford Mills<\/strong>, and family entertainment and things to do such as Kia Ora Mini farm<\/strong>, Pirates Cove<\/strong> and Shrule Pet farm<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

Gorey and North Wexford<\/strong> also offer the walking enthusiast  a choice of hillwalking destinations and family friendly walking trails that all the family can enjoy. So you can choose between a nice relaxed walk in Courtown Woods or go for a more strenuous hillwalk up nearby lug mountain!<\/p>\n
